Blog of the Week, February 11, 2008: Adjunct Ethnography

I have been looking for adjunct ethnographies lately, and I have not found too many.  Then again, I just started my search.  Fortunately, Google turned up a pdf of Dr. Kristen M. Wallingford’s “Ethnography of an Unemployed Ph.D.” While brief, it provides great insight into how academics and adjuncts see themselves while applying—or considering applying—for unemployment.  It is well worth your read.
