The term is heating up for the final blast—I can sense portfolio reading already! Still, this is not the time to forget about grades. That’s right, hard copies of grades. I have had a couple of close calls over the past couple of years regarding grades, and so I now print out hard copies of my grades from my computer-based grading system just in case. I try to do this several times a term. Plus, I make a second copy of the hard copy and keep one at home and one at school. Sure, I may be overly cautious or paranoid, but better that than the alternative of not having any information on hand for students’ grades during the final week. So, have you made or printed hard copies of your grades yet? Yes, it is common sense. But still, it is a good idea! Posted by Gregory Zobel on 11/17 at 11:20 PM
